Arlene Kaempfer Wrabel

Hospital Ward Clerk

Arlene Kaempfer Wrabel, 76, of Leesburg, Fla., died August 2. Born in Bridgeport, she was a resident of Monroe before moving to Leesburg in 1995.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Eugene J. Wrabel, Sr, of Leesburg; sons William Wrabel and his wife, Virginia, of Newtown and Eugene J. Wrabel and his wife, Susan, of Washington Depot; daughter Donna Viglione and her husband, Salvadore, of Inverness, Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-law Charles and Valorie Kaempfer of Heath, Mass., John Donald and Barbara Kaempfer of Plymouth, and Robert and Mary Kaempfer of Tamworth, N.H.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs Wrabel was a retired ward clerk in the maternity department at Danbury Hospital. She enjoyed crafts.

The funeral service was held Thursday morning, August 11, in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull. Interment followed in Cutlers Farm Cemetery, Cross Hill Road, Monroe.
