Waldorf School Fall Playgroup

The Housatonic Valley Waldorf School is now accepting registration for the fall session of its nurturing weekly playgroup for children from birth to 3½ years of age accompanied by their parent or caregiver. Parent and child will experience a Waldorf early education atmosphere and community, a place where children play together and parents support one another.

While the children play, the parents work with their hands, creating playthings and seasonal crafts. Circle time is for songs, movement, finger games and simple puppet plays. After playing, a wholesome snack is shared together. The playgroup provides an introduction to Waldorf education.

The session lasts for 16 weeks beginning in mid-September. It is for two hours, one day a week, offered on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
