The pools â
U.S American Division: Pacific Southwest (Hilo, Hawaii), Pacific Northwest (Kennewick, Washington), New England (Newtown), Southwest (Arkansas), Maryland state champion (St. Maryâs County).
U.S. National Division: Ohio Valley (Lexington, Kentucky), Plains (Mineral Area, Missouri), Middle Atlantic (Bronx, New York), Southeast (Satsuma, Alabama), Harford County champion (Hickory Fountain Green).
International Division: Canada, Dominican Republic, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Australia.
The Blaze will open American division pool play on Sunday, August 13, at 2 pm against Southwest Regional champion Arkansas. On Monday, August 14, the Blaze will battle Pacific Southwest Regional champion Hilo, Hawaii at 12 noon.
On Wednesday, at 4 pm, the Blaze will continue pool play against the Maryland state champion and on Thursday, at 11 am, will conclude pool play against Pacific Northwest regional champion Kennewick, Washington.
On Friday, the top four teams in the United States pools (American and National divisions) will battle for the right to reach the U.S. championship game while the top four teams in the International pool will battle for the right to reach the International championship game â both of which will be played Saturday, following the first-ever Cal Ripken All Star Game.
The tournament championship will be held Sunday, August 20, at 5:05 pm at Cal Sr. Yard and â like the semifinals and U.S. and International championship games â will be broadcast live on the OLN (Outdoor Life Network) channel.
