Helena Gabrielle Buonagurio and Matthew Thomas Wells

Stanley and MaryAnn Buonagurio of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Newtown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Helena Gabrielle Buonagurio, to Matthew Thomas Wells, son of John Edward and Sandra Wells of Pensacola, Fla.

Ms Buonagurio is a 2001 graduate of Newtown High School. She is presently a student in the College of Nursing at Florida State University. She is minoring in psychology and early childhood education and holds her Florida real estate license.

Mr Wells is a graduate of J.M. Tate High School, Pensacola, Class of 2000. He earned a master in sports management from Florida State University with a minor in exercise science. He is employed as a medical supplies representative with McKesson Medical Supplies.

The bride and groom became engaged at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World on June 24. The fireworks over Cinderella’s castle were the backdrop for the enchanting proposal.

A fairy tale wedding is planned for April 29, 2007.
