Dorothy Stadler Giacomini

Former Newtown Teacher

Dorothy Stadler Giacomini, 66, of Trumbull, died August 1 at her home. Born in Bridgeport, she had been a Trumbull resident most of her life.

She was a math and science teacher in the Newtown and Monroe school systems on both the middle school and high school levels.

Survivors include her son, Christian R. Giacomini; sister, Julia K. Stadler; sister-in-law, Jane M. Stadler; nephew, J. Scott Stadler; and nieces, Marguerite Stadler, Rachel Steinebrey, and Erica Stadler.

Funeral services were held August 7 at Christ the King Church, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
