Beardsley Zoo Seeks Volunteers

BRIDGEPORT — Beardsley Zoo, at 1875 Noble Avenue, is seeking nature lovers and friendly faces to train as volunteers who will help with the zoo’s mission of providing conservation education and quality family recreation. Zoo volunteers should enjoy interacting with people of all ages and working to help promote a healthier, greener planet.

The next all-day Zoo Volunteer Workshop will be on Saturday, September 9, beginning at 10 am in the zoo’s library. There is a small fee to cover materials and lunch will be provided.

Interested people need to call the zoo’s Volunteer Office to learn more about the zoo’s volunteer opportunities and to reserve a spot in this unique workshop. Space is limited and reservations must be made by September 1 by calling 203/330-6046.
