Retail Center In Sandy Hook Sold

The K's Korner shopping center in the Sandy Hook Center was recently sold to a

local developer.

Fred Kasbarian sold the 4,600-square-foot building to Michael Burton for

$275,000.

Mr Kasbarian can still be found at the K's Korner Liquor Store, however, as

that business has not been sold yet. That closing is not scheduled until early

February. Mr Burton said he plans to name the liquor store Pootatuck Spirits.

As for the building, the developer plans to give it a complete face lift,

utilizing the new Sandy Hook design district regulations. He also plans to

expand the parking.
