Peter Feli, Jr
Peter J. Feli, Jr, died March 23, at the New England Medical Center in Boston,
Mass., after a brief illness. He was the husband of Deborah Ann (Nafey) Feli
and lived at 76 Parmalee Hill Road, Newtown.
Mr Feli was born in Danbury, April 10, 1939, son of Margaret Piskura Feli of
Newtown and the late Peter Feli, Sr. Mr Feli was educated in Newtown schools
and Henry Abbott Technical School. He was a self-employed carpenter. Mr Feli
served in the Army from 1961 to 1964 and was stationed in Thailand. He was a
member of St Rose Church and an avid collector of antique tools.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his three sons, Michael J. of
Brooklyn, Mass., Jason R. and Chad P. Feli, both of Newtown; his two brothers,
George J. and Francis S. Feli and his sister Theresa Fuller, all of Newtown.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 26, at 10:15 am
at St Rose Church in Newtown. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Calling
hours were scheduled at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury,
on Thursday, March 25, from 6 to 8 pm.

Angelo J. Licursi
Angelo J. Licursi died March 13, at his home in New Port Richey, Fla., after
an illness of several months. He was married to Barbara (Fanning) Licursi. He
was born in Danbury on March 2, 1938, the son of Luigi and Lena Licursi.
He was the brother of Gene Licursi and Vincent Licursi of Newtown.
In addition to his wife and brothers, Mr Licursi is survived by two sons,
Kevin of California and Jeffrey of Georgia; two daughters, Karen May and Kathy
McWilliams of Palm Harbor, Fla.; one other brother, Anthony Licursi of
Brookfield; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Military services were held March 18, in Palm Harbor, Fla.

John J. Brautigam
John Joseph Brautigam, 83, a 50-year resident of Norwalk, died March 23 in
Norwalk Hospital. He was the husband of Beatrice (Lichtenberger) Brautigam and
the father of Paul Brautigam of Newtown.
Mr Brautigam was born in Bronx, N.Y., on February 11, 1916. He attended P.S.
72 Elementary School, Evander Childs High School and was a graduate of New
York University.
He was a retired New York City fireman and then continued with a career as a
design engineer with the Burndy Corporation, relocating with his family to
Connecticut.
While raising a family and becoming an avid fisherman and member of numerous
fishing clubs throughout New York and Connecticut, Mr Brautigam found the time
to become the president of the Brien McMahon Father's Club, president of St
Matthew Holy Name Society, Parish Lay Council and the Adoration Society.
He was also the chairman for St Joseph Church Centennial Anniversary Journal
and events. He was a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a
troop leader for the Boy Scouts of America.
In addition to his wife of 53 years, and his son, Mr Brautigam is survived by
seven other children, Bonnie Sysko of Maryland, Jack Brautigam of Washington,
Merry Davidson of Texas, Laurie McCahill of Florida, Ginnie Haggerty of
Pennsylvania, Joseph Brautigam of Bethel and Donna Rosehill of Fairfield; a
brother, Arthur Brautigam; and 18 grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 am Friday, March 26, in St Joseph Church in South
Norwalk.
The wake was scheduled from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, March 25, in
the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.
The family requests that contributions in his memory be made to St Joseph
Church, 85 South Main Street, South Norwalk, CT 06856.

James R. Childs
James R. Childs, 38, of Sandy Hook, died March 21 in Trinity Hills Hospice,
Hartford.
Mr Childs was born in Washington, DC on July 15, 1960, a son of James J.
Childs of Bowling Green, Va. and the late Naomi (Dimmie) Childs. He was a
former member of the Board of Directors of Newtown Youth Services.
In addition to his father, Mr Childs is survived by two daughters, Kendra of
Virginia and Naomi of Sandy Hook; a brother, Tyrone Childs of Virginia; two
sisters, Angela Childs and Yvette Jones, both of Maryland; and an aunt, Geneva
Parker of Bowling Green, Va.
A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, March 26, at 11 am, in the
Newtown Congregational Church. Cremation will take place at Mountain Grove
Crematory, Bridgeport. There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.

Francesco Poli
Francesco "Frank" Poli, 70, of Glen Oak Drive, Enfield, died March 22. He was
born in Conco, Italy, son of the late John and Aurelia (Colpo) Poli. He was a
resident of Enfield for the last 43 years.
He was the father of Patricia Poli-Nair of Newtown.
Mr Poli was formerly employed by Hamilton Standard as a cost analyst for 31
years, later working for the Hertz Corporation during his retirement. He was
pre-deceased by his wife, Ann Marie (Pavlakis) Poli.
In addition to his daughter, Mr Poli is survived by a son, Philip Poli of
Enfield; daughters, Pamela Poli of Albuquerque, N.M., Paula Larson of
Suffield, Jo Ann Senter, and Dawn Dodge of Enfield; 11 grandchildren, Michael,
Michelle, Christopher, Melissa, Kimberly, Danielle, Debra, Keri, David, Sara,
and Gabrielle; a sister, Vanda Gutt of Torrington; and many nieces and
nephews.
A memorial service was held on March 24 in Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43
Shaker Road, Enfield.

William Estok
William Estok, 70, of Walnut Tree Hill Road, Huntington, the husband of 48
years of Marjorie (Lewis) Estok, died on March 19, at his home after a long
illness.
He was the brother of Paul Estok of Newtown.
He was born in Derby on August 22, 1928, the son of the late George and
Elizabeth (Petro) Estok. He was a graduate of Ansonia High School and had been
a member of the State Police Auxiliary; he also had served in the Naval
Reserve. He had formerly worked at the Dayton and Edwards Automobile Agency of
Stratford.
He was a Safety Coordinator for Bridgeport Machine Company for over 26 years.
While retired, he owned and operated an apple and peach farm and small fruit
stand at his home for many years. He was an avid traveler. He moved to
Huntingon from Ansonia in 1965.
Besides his wife and brother, he is survived by his daughters, Sharon Smith of
Milford and Doreen Blewett of West Haven; his grandsons, William Smith, Keith
and Eric Blewett and his granddaughter, Jennifer Smith, and several nieces and
nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, George, John
and Andrew Estok and his sister, Elizabeth Smith.
A funeral service was held on March 23, in the Chapel of the Miller-Ward
Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, Seymour. Spring interment will be in Pine Hill
Cemetery, Southbury.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church of Shelton or to The
American Cancer Society, Relay For Life, through the funeral director.

Edward Miller, Jr
Edward P. "Bill" Miller, Jr, 68, of Stratford, the husband of the late
Marjorie Griffin Miller, died on March 20, in Newtown.
He was the father of Joan Goulding of Newtown.
He was born in Parkerburg, W. Va., the oldest son of the late Edward P Miller,
Sr, and Mabel (Walker) Miller.
Mr Miller was an industrial engineer, working 31 years for Raybestos until
their acquisition by Echlin Corporation of Branford, and he was employed for
12 years on Echlin's corporate staff until his retirement in 1997. He was in
the US Army from 1948-1954, serving 13 months in Korea during the Korean
Conflict. He was a member of the VFW Post #145, Bridgeport, and was also a
member of the Germania Schwaben Society.
In addition to his daughter, he is survived by sons, Michael Miller of
Mansfield and Daniel Miller of Seymour; seven grandchildren, Joshua and
Kimberly Miller of Milford, Corey and Colin Miller of Orlando, Fla., Jaclyn,
Keri and Christopher Goulding of Newtown; two brothers, Gene Miller of
Mansfield, Ohio and Michael Miller of Parkersburg, W. Va.; eight sisters,
Janet Smith and Shirley Keifer of Lucas, Ohio, Sharon Semones and Linda
Farnsworth of Parkerburg, W. Va., Barbara Prall of Belpre, Ohio, Sandra Wilson
of Davisville, W. Va., Margie Houchin of Williamstown, W. Va., and Winnie
Smith of Johnstown, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and
nephews. In addition, he is also survived by a sister-in-law, Kathryn Griffin
and a very dear friend and companion, Jane Gagnon.
At his request, all services will be private. Donations can be made in his

to United Home Hospice, 1931 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, CT 06432.

Alfred J. Arsenault, Jr
Alfred J. Arsenault, Jr, 66, of 27 Hilldale Drive, Sandy Hook, died March 21,
at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of Mavis R. (Allen) Arsenault.
Mr Arsenault was born June 13, 1932, in New London, son of Madeline Arsenault
of St John, New Brunswick, Canada, and the late Alfred J. Arsenault, Sr. He
worked at Fairfield Hills in Newtown for 30 years, the last 15 years as head
cook, retiring in 1987. He was active with the Newtown Civil Defense and was a
member of the Emergency Responders Association. He as a resident of Sandy Hook
for 41 years.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two sons, Bruce G. Arsenault of
Thomaston and Walter M. Royals of Monroe; one daughter, Diane M. Arsenault of
Thomaston; one brother, Eric Arsenault of St John, New Brunswick; one sister,
Rose Connors of Nackawick, New Brunswick; and two grandchildren.
The funeral service was held March 24 at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street
South, Southbury. Burial will be private.

Frank Peter Servidio
Frank Peter Servidio, 80, of Newtown, formerly of Greenwich, died on March 18,
at Danbury Hospital.
He was the husband of Dorothy (Lewis) Servidio of Newtown and father of
Catherine Rose Young of Sandy Hook.
Born in Greenwich on March 15, 1919, he was the son of the late Natale and
Maria Servidio. He had been a resident of Newtown for 46 years.
He was a retired sheet metal worker, employed by Triangle Metal Products for
over 25 years.
He was best known as Montana, for his guitar and harmonica playing. He was a
veteran of World War II, serving with the US Army. He received the Bronze
Medal as well as the Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW Post in Newtown.
In addition to his wife and daughter, he is survived by a son, Frank N.
Servidio of Milford; two brothers, Joseph Servidio of Cos Cob and Angelo
Servidio of Stamford; a sister, Rose Swiatowicz of Stamford; and three
grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, James and Albert Servidio.
Funeral services were held on March 20 at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134
Hamilton Avenue, Greenwich. Burial followed in St Mary Cemetery in Greenwich.

John H. Tremblay
John H. Tremblay, 72, husband of Flora (Morrison) Tremblay of 15 Fieldstone
Drive, Newtown, died March 20, at the Pope John Paul II Center in Danbury.
He was the father of Wendy Mauro of Newtown and Barbara Colacurcil of Sandy
Hook.
He was born March 8, 1927 in Fairfield, son of the late Eugene and Anna
(Coyneen) Tremblay. He attended Fairfield schools and moved to Newtown 35
years ago. An iron worker, he was employed by Local 424 Iron Workers Union.
During World War II, he served in the US Navy as a fireman on the USS Irwin.
Mr Tremblay was a member and former chief of the Dodgingtown Fire Department.
He was an avid fisherman.
Besides his wife and daughters, he is survived by one son, Jack Tremblay of
Palm Harbor, Fla.; one other daughter, Dawn Tremblay of Bethel; three sisters,
Beatrice Cravates and Lois Schmalling, both of Stratford, and Virginia
Fitzgerald of Hartford; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on March 23 from the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main
Street, Newtown, to St Rose Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment
was in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
Contributions in his memory may be given to a charity of one's choice.

Daniel T. Killeen
Daniel T. Killeen, 45, of Fairfield, a dispatcher for the City of Bridgeport
Fire Department, died on March 17, in St Vincent's Medical Center. He was the
brother of Rosemary Rioux of Sandy Hook.
Born in Bridgeport, Mr Killeen had been an area resident all of his life. He
was a member of the Firefighter Historical Society.
Survivors include his fiance, Kathleen Kohler of Fairfield; a brother, William
J. Killeen of North Little Rock, Ark.; two nieces and four nephews, Kimberly
Plourde of Derby, James Shea of Bridgeport, Jennifer Shea-Dzialo of Sandy
Hook, Daniel Killeen of Kansas City, Kan., William Killeen of St Louis, Mo.,
and Thaddeus C. (TC) Killeen of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandnephews and four
grandnieces.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held March 20, at Saint Ann's Church, Brewster
Street, Bridgeport. Interment followed in St Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
THe Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield, was in charge of
arrangements.
