Reaching The Goal

To the Editor:

My daughter Mackenzie placed a hand painted coffee can at Your Healthy Pet one year ago, just before starting third grade. I am proud to say we have collected and counted our final donation to Canine Advocates in the amount of $30.

Since last year we made four separate donations, totaling $189. All the money was designated for the new animal shelter, and it is very rewarding to see this goal finally reached. Thank you again to every customer at Your Healthy Pet who donated to Mackenzie’s “Pennies For Paws” can. Additionally, thank you to owners Tom and MaryKay for allowing counter space for this worthwhile project.
