Holiday Bazaar Being Planned
Holiday Bazaar Being Planned
SOUTHBURY â On Saturday, November 10, from 9 am to 3 pm, the Ladies Auxiliary of Southbury Volunteer Firemanâs Association will present its 30th annual Holiday Bazaar at Center Firehouse on Main Street South.
The response from exhibitors has always been excellent with both upstairs and downstairs of the firehouse selling out. In past years more than 40 individuals have displayed hundreds of quality arts and crafts including wooden toys, woodcraft, bears, dolls, dried floral and silk arrangements, jewelry, neckties, quilts, wall hangings, tree skirts, knit and crochet clothing, sweatshirts, ceramics, candles, and other specialties.
Organizers are making a strong effort to solicit only craftspeople with handmade products and will hold another event in the spring for readymade products.
Artisans and crafters interested in applying for a spot at this yearâs bazaar are invited to call 262-0615 or request an application by mail from SVFA Ladies Auxiliary, PO Box 911, Southbury CT 06488. Please note all jewelry spaces for the November event are already full.
