Properties Sold In Sandy Hook Center
(with photo)
The rebirth of the Sandy Hook center continued to take shape last week with
the sale of three commercial buildings along Church Hill Road.
Mike Porco of Porco Construction purchased the buildings at a cost of $287,000
from the Milot family estate. The building addresses are 113, 115A, and 115B
Church Hill Road.
Bob Cascella of William Pitt Real Estate handled the sale.
Mr Porco, owner of Newtown Academy for Karate, said he has plans to redesign
the buildings for future business use. However, he declined to comment further
pending review by the town's land-use department.
The three buildings have housed several different businesses in recent years,
including a bakery and a seafood shop.
