$14,950, while a pair of bottles of the 1990 vintage (est $3,5/4,500) brought
$6,900.
Prices were firm for Bordeaux as well, such as a case of Chateau Haut-Brion

vintages of Chateau Latour also attracted strong interest.

$3,250/3,750) for $4,887, and a three-bottle lot of Screaming Eagle 1994
($1,3/1,700), $3,335.
Sotheby's has scheduled four wine auctions for the fall. Sherry-Lehmann with
Sotheby's will hold auctions in New York on September 18 and November 20. The
Chicago schedule resumes with a sale on October 9, which will include a
special session devoted exclusively to California wines. This will be followed
by a pre-holiday auction on December 11, which will feature a special session
comprised of wine collectibles, humidors, vintage ports and cognacs.
