Page Auctioneers Paperweight & Collectibles Auction Results

BATAVIA, N.Y. -- Phil McBride, CAI of Page Auctioneers, held a Paperweight &

Collectibles Auction at their auction house on June 5.

Expectations for the sale soared as bidders from around the world converged on

Western New York for this exciting sale. Interest was highest for a complete

set of 18 Baccarat Gridel paperweights which realized a total of $6,957.50 for

all 18 paperweights.

Other prices realized at this sale included: a 14 karat gold hat pin with

amethyst stone brought $143; a Niagara Falls stanhope hatpin sold for $132; a

Dominick Labino paperweight brought $121; a Paul Ysart paperweight sold for

$660; a Perthshire penguin paperweight fetched $385; a Jay Glass floral

paperweight brought $253; a cobalt glass charger sold for $165; a set of

paperweight door knobs brought $154; a Ron Hanson paperweight fetched $165; a

Robert Banford paperweight sold for $412.50; and a Charles Kaziun paperweight

brought $330.

A Millefiori glass mushroom sold for $121; a Limoges hatpin holder brought

$121; a Whitefriar 3 Wisemen paperweight fetched $418; a St Louis floral

paperweight went for $231; a St Louis Washington on horses paperweight sold

for $330; a St Louis King of France paperweight sold for $330; a Baccarat

Millefiori paperweight sold for $302.50; and a Baccarat Mount Rushmore

paperweight went for $357.50.
