Revenue From The Roof

Struggling to find new sources of funding, the Board of Town Hall Managers has

agreed to allow Southern New England Telephone (SNET) to erect an antenna on

the roof of Edmond Town Hall.

The telephone company plans to install the antenna for improved cellular phone

reception. It will pay the board of managers $10,000 per year for the use of

the roof.

"It's not expected to be any bigger that the one already up there," explained

Marie Sturdevant, a member of the board.
