DANBURY â The ninth annual One Heart Festival, the first major Christian musical event in the Danbury region since Luis Palauâs packed-house Mission Connecticut Festival last spring, will be Saturday, August 18, on Danburyâs CityCenter Green from 1 to 5 pm.

In addition, three Danbury-area youth dance troupes are scheduled to perform. Other features at the year festival will include a prayer tent for those who want to pray in the company of supportive Christians. Several churches and other Christian groups will run commercial and game booths this year.
Admission to the festival is free. All-day-rate parking will be available at the municipal garage across the street from the green. Rain date is August 19. For further information, call 748-4972 or visit the festivalâs Web site, www.1heartonline.org.
