Judy P. Fellows, Entertainer   And Hostess, Dies At 72
Judy P. Fellows, 72, of Sand Hill Road, Sandy Hook, died August 9 at Danbury Hospital.
She was born in Cambridge, Mass., on January 17, 1928, graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School, and studied dance. She danced for the USO in the 1940s, as a member of Gay Fosterâs Roxyettes at the Roxy Theater in New York City, and also as a solo performer through the 1950s. She married entertainer Billy Fellows in 1957, and they traveled the country before starting a family.
She settled in Newtown in 1971 and worked at the Blue Colony Diner as a hostess and waitress for over 20 years.
She is survived by her sister, Helen Andrews, and four children, Susan (Fellows) Gannon, Mary (Fellows) Conk, Scott Fellows, and Mark Fellows who, like their parents, pursued careers in entertainment and the arts, which made her very proud.
Mrs Fellows also leaves five grandchildren, Jack, Cleo, Charlie, Paris June, and Wes, whom she loved very much.
A memorial service will be held at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, on Saturday at 11 am with Father William Padgett of St Johnâs Episcopal Church of Sandy Hook officiating.
