Family Nature Walk At Devil’s Den

WESTON — The entire family has an opportunity to take a guided nature walk to find out a little more about how plant and animal life is surviving summer at Devil’s Den Preserve.

The Nature Conservancy’s Den is a 1,756-acre nature preserve whose woodlands and wetlands provide habitat for many migratory songbirds, dragonflies, mammals, and, of course, trees – varied, large deciduous trees that make the forest cool during the summertime.

The walk will take place on Saturday, August 19, from 9:30 to 11:30 am. It will be led by trained natural history guides Dorothy Abrams and Bob Eppinger.

There is no charge for this program, but reservations are required. Participants should call the Devil’s Den office at (203)_226-4991 weekdays between 9 am and 5 pm for further information, reservations, or directions to the preserve.
