Martin L. Weil, 75 of Trumbull, devoted and loving husband of 43 years to Patricia Muratori Weil, died July 30 at St Vincentâs Medical Center, surrounded by his family, after a long and valiant struggle with lymphoma. Born in New York City, September 26, 1932, he was the son of Henry and Marion Cecelia Weil.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Barbara Wadell and her husband, James, of Sandy Hook; sons, Mark Weil and his wife, Katie, of Skokie, Ill., and Jonathan Weil and his wife, Beth Tascione, of New York City; his grandchildren, Samantha, Megan, and Max Weil of Skokie, and Kayla Weil of Sandy Hook; his sister, Eleanor Leferman of Stamford; and several nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, George L. Weil.
A resident of Trumbull for more than 40 years, he was a graduate of Duke University and the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a veteran of the United States Air Force. His career as an accountant included positions as controller at Warner Packaging in Bridgeport, director of accounting at Clairol in Stamford, and controller/director of administration at Stamford Center of Arts. Mr Weil also served on the board of finance in Trumbull for a few years.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Dr Adrian Dafcik, Dr Andrew Duda and his nurse, Susy, Dr Philip Simkovitz, and the caring and supportive staff of 7 East at St Vincentâs Medical Center.
 A memorial service was held August 3 in The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home, Fairfield.
