Andrew Cordova, 83, of Bethel, died July 31. He was the husband of Norma Cordova for 62 years. He was born in New York, April 29, 1925.
He is survived by four sons, Andrew F. and his wife, Sharon, of Newtown, Joseph A. and his companion, Cindi, of Cheshire, Louis P. and his wife, Alice, of Vero Beach, Fla., and Frank J. and his wife, Janet, of Shelton; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Susan, David and his wife, Wendi, Jeremy and his wife, Alison, CPT Amy Cordova of JAG, and Christina and her husband, Brett Greenlaw; six great-grandchildren, Jayden, Brady, the twins, Zachary and Cody, Alyssa, and Dylan; one brother; and several nieces and nephews. His parents, three brothers, and one sister predeceased him.
He was a disabled veteran of the US Army during World War II. He retired in 1984 as a US government employee of the Government Services Administration.
A Mass was held at St Maryâs Catholic Church, Bethel, August 4. Burial followed in Bethel Cemetery.
