Whatâs New In Integrative Therapies?
DANBURY ââ The Office of Complementary Medicine will host its first symposium addressing âIntegrative Therapies ââ Whatâs New?â on Thursday, August 21, at Danbury Hospital. The free program is open to the public and takes place in the John C. Creasy Center for Health Education auditorium from 7 to 8:30 pm. Park free in the Blue Visitorâs Parking Lot, Hospital Avenue entrance.
Features speakers and topics to be discussed, include:
Dr Larry Stern, a graduate of New York Chiropractic College and postgraduate of Network Spinal Analysis, who is the owner of the Stern Chiropractic & Health Center. He will discuss âNSA Network Spinal Analysis ââ A Healing Art for the Millennium.â
Michael Burnett, a certified yoga instructor, completed an accredited program in shiatsu/massage therapy and studied Thai yoga bodywork in Thailand with master Phichest Boothame. He will speak about âThai Yoga Bodywork.â
Starla Fucito is a licensed acupuncturist, a diplomate of acupuncture and graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of California, San Diego. She will discuss âAcupuncture and Womenâs Health.â
