SCAN Water Media Program

Bob Noreika of Rocky Hill will demonstrate painting a landscape in water media at the next meeting of The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN), which is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13. The meeting begins at 7:30 pm and is open free of charge to anyone interested in the use of water media.

The program will be in the lower meeting room of Newtown Meeting House, at 31 Main Street (Route 25) in Newtown.

For his demonstration Mr Noreika will share his techniques for using acrylics in a watercolor style.

Bob Noreika is a prominent watercolorist and illustrator whose paintings hang in many corporate and private collections throughout the US, Europe and Japan. His technical expertise was featured in Artist’s Magazine (April 1998). He is a member of Connecticut Watercolor Society and Salmagundi Club in New York City.

Mr Noreika has a studio and gallery in the Farmington Valley Arts Center in Avon. He lectures and teaches throughout New England, where he is represented in numerous galleries.
