Elinor T. Breawa Kudrak, age 78, of Stratford, beloved wife for 57 years of Thomas M. Kudrak, died August 6 in her home.
Born in Bronx, N.Y., on March 27, 1927, to the late Kost and Joanna Seborwski Breawa, she married her husband there on June 2, 1946. Mrs Kudrak had resided in Stratford for 53 years.
She was the sister-in-law of Donald Ferris of Newtown.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Loretta Ferris, and nephew, Chester Ferris.
 In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children, son James and his wife, Judy, of Middletown, daughter Susan and her husband, Ira Pollack, of Bethel, son Ralph and his wife, Lynda, of Columbia, Ill.; and daughter, Laura Zaleski of Stratford; five grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Kudrak, Adrienne Zaleski, Joshua Pollack, and Kayla Mardirosian.
Besides her brother-in-law, Donald Ferris, she is survived by her niece Barbara Avery of Fiskdale, Mass.
Mrs. Kudrak was retired from Syntex Rubber Corp in Bridgeport. She was past president of the Holy Name of Jesus Ladies Guild and a member of the guild bowling team. She was an award-winning artist who specialized in oil paintings.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, August 9, at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1955 Barnum Avenue, Stratford, at 11 am, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 7 pm at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford.
