Center Schedules September Groups

DANBURY — Registration is now being accepted for several of the support groups conducted by the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury, Inc.

Center staff will be facilitating Divorce and Separation, Domestic Abuse, Incest Survivors, and Self Esteem for Women. The free and confidential groups meet for eight continuous weeks. Call 731-5200 for more information.

September will also begin the month-long celebration of the Women’s Center’s 15th anniversary of providing continuous service to Greater Danbury residents.

In addition to support groups, the center offers counseling, crisis intervention, workshops, education, and prevention programs, two 24-hour hotlines, and a referral helpline.
