Self-Paced Computer Tutorials
Library cards from C.H. Booth Library can now serve as tickets to free, self-paced LearningExpress Library web-based computer software skills tutorials.
Users can now learn or review 2003 and 2007/2008 Microsoft Office programs (basic to advanced, PC and Mac) from home, work, or the library including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. For those who are new to computers, there are also tutorials available for Windows XP, Vista Business, and Mac OSX Leopard Desktop.
Learn rapidly through fully interactive multimedia programs that include sound, animation, and visuals for easy learning.Anyone wanting to learn or review computer software applications can sign up with a C.H. Booth library card directly at LearningExpressLibrary.com or come to the reference department on the third floor for assistance in getting started.
Booth Library, at 25 Main Street, is open Monday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 8 pm; Friday, 11 am to 5 pm; Saturday, 9:30 am to 5 pm; and Sunday, noon to 5 (closed Sundays in summer).
