‘NATURE OF THINGS’ AT PORTLAND MUSEUM

PORTLAND, MAINE — The Portland Museum of Art will present the exhibition “The Nature of Things Print Folio” through September 2. This print portfolio includes the work of 15 artists associated with the graphics studio, Zea Mays Printmaking, in Florence, Mass.

The studio’s mission is to develop and promote printmaking practices that are nontoxic to artists and the environment. Its name derives from the Latin name for sweet corn, a plant that has the natural ability to purify the soil.
