Tennis pro Rob Howard and a team of Newtown Tennis Association volunteers will offer tennis instruction and round robin play during Free Tennis Clinics at Dickinson Park for boys and girls ages 5 to 16.

Kids can learn to play or improve their games. If anyone needs them, racquets will be provided, and prizes will be award.

The Clinics will be held Saturdays, August 11 and 18. Players ages 5-7 will meet from 10 to 11 am, players ages 8-12 will meet from 11 am to 12:30 pm, and players ages 13 to 16 will meet from 12:30 to 2 pm. If sufficient interest is shown, round robin play will be held on Tuesdays, August 14 and 21 (rain dates are August 15 and 22) at Treadwell Park (same times as those listed above).
