Nancy Dolan Joins NSB

Newtown Savings Bank announced that Nancy K. Dolan has joined the bank as vice president – relationship manager.

Ms Dolan has experience in business lending, customer service, and management. She has served in this capacity at Summit Bank and NMBT prior to joining Newtown Savings Bank. She also served as managing director at Candlewood Bank and was instrumental in successfully merging Candlewood Bank with NMBT.

At NMBT and Summit she was vice president/business development. She led the bank in developing new business, resulting in the growth of their 30 Main Street branch to a $35,000 branch.

Nancy Dolan is an active member of many non-profit boards as well as service company boards. She is a member of United Way, Northern Fairfield County Board, and a member of the United Way Campaign Cabinet, on which she chairs the Planned Giving Committee.

She is actively involved in Catholic charities, including Catholic Family Services – Danbury, Pope John Paul II Foundation, Diocese of Bridgeport Health Care Foundation, and Catholic Charities. She is chairman of the board at Immaculate High School and a director at Pope John Paul II Health Care.

She is also director of the Housatonic Industrial Development Corporation. Danbury Industrial Corporation is the area’s SBA lending agency for financing the purchase of owner-occupied industrial plants and facilities.
