Three Warrants
Police said they served three arrest warrants against Darla Ferris, 37, of 208 Brushy Hill Road on August 3, lodging four counts of issuing a bad check and one count of damaging a landlordâs property.
Police said Ferris turned herself in after learning of the warrants. Police released her for an August 22 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Sandy Hook DWI
Police said a concerned motorist reported to them about 7:30 pm August 4 that he was traveling behind an erratically driven vehicle on Glen Road in Sandy Hook.
Police said they located the offending vehicle and gave its driver, Anthony Dvorsky, 35, whose last known address is 134 Underhill Road, Sandy Hook, field sobriety tests, which Dvorsky failed. Police charged Dvorsky with driving while intoxicated.
Police released Dvorsky on bond to answer the charge at an upcoming appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
Warrant Served
Police said they served an arrest warrant against Tracy Barone, 29, of East Haven on August 3 in Avon, lodging a charge of failure to appear in court in connection with a past incident in Newtown.
Police said they released Barone on bond for an August 18 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
DWI Incident
Police said they observed motorist Joseph Clady, 19, of Bethel driving erratically in the vicinity of Queen Street and Glover Avenue about 2:15 am August 5.
Police said they stopped Clady near the intersection of Sugar Street and Main Street and gave him field sobriety tests, which he failed.
Police said they charged Clady with driving while intoxicated, failure to drive to the right, and failure to obey a street sign.
After processing, police released Clady for an August 21 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
I-84 Rear-Ender
State police report motorist Craig Kirkpatrick, 28, of Chambersburg, Penn., who was driving a 1993 Honda Accord on eastbound Interstate-84 about 11 am August 5, was traveling in front of Kevin Andrees, 18, of Danbury, who was driving a 1994 Ford Taurus. The two vehicles were traveling in stop-and-go traffic on the highway when the Ford struck the rear end of the Honda, state police said.
There were no injuries. State police charged Andrees with following too closely.

Warrant
Police report they served a warrant against Philip Scappatura, 32, of 4 Beaver Dam Road, on August 7, lodging charges of second-degree failure to appear in court and driving a motor vehicle while under suspension. Police released Scappatura on bond for an August 21 appearance in Danbury Superior Court.
MV Charges
Police report they charged motorist Keith Scheck, 32, of Stratford August 8 with traveling unreasonably fast and operating a motor vehicle while under suspension. Scheck is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court August 24 to answer the charges, police said.
