Wasserman Honored

OLEAN, N.Y. — Newtown resident John Wasserman, Jr, division manager for Vector Marketing Corporation’s New England Division, has been inducted in to the company’s corporate Vector/Cutco Hall of Fame in Olean, N.Y., on the strength of generating over $10 million in career office sales.

Mr Wasserman, whose Fairfield headquarters office is located at 142 Old Ridgefield Road, Wilton, was honored at Vector’s recent Northeast Region Summer Sales Conference in Lancaster, Penn.

Vector is the exclusive marketer of Cutco Cutlery, the largest manufacturer of high-quality kitchen cutlery and accessories in the United States and Canada.

Mr Wasserman joined Vector in January 1992 while a student at Lock Haven (Penn.) University, from which he graduated in 1995. In April 1999, he was promoted to division manager of the New England operation, which encompasses Connecticut, Rhode Island, and portions of Massachusetts, and relocated to the Fairfield, Conn., office.

Mr Wasserman and his wife Gitana Marie are residents of Sandy Hook.
