Playgroup At Waldorf School

Registration has begun at Housatonic Valley Waldorf School in Newtown for a playgroup for parents and their children, birth to age three, that will begin September 6 and 7.

Each playgroup will meet once a week, Thursday or Friday, from 9 am to 1 pm for eight weeks at the Housatonic Valley Waldorf School on 40 Dodgingtown Road (Route 302) in Newtown. Cost is $160 per parent-child team.

The playgroup features handmade, natural toys, special seasonal songs, and a nurturing, wholesome atmosphere. Parents and children participate in circle time, playtime, snack, and seasonal crafts and song in the spirit of the Waldorf early childhood education philosophy.
