BROOKFIELD â Get set to join in the mouth-watering fun as The Village at Brookfield Common hosts the âBest of the Best Greater Danbury Pizza War,â a pizza judging contest to benefit the Fairfield Chapter of the Connecticut Alzheimerâs Association on Saturday, August 18, from 2 to 4 pm.
More than 20 pizza vendors and restaurants from the Greater Danbury area will be participating, including Alfonsoâs Pizzeria of Danbury, Armandoâs of Bethel, Brunoâs Pizzeria of New Fairfield, Camrminuccioâs of Newtown, Famous Pizza of Bethel, Fireside Inn of Newtown, Francoâs Pizza Café of Brookfield, Gemmaâs Pizza Restaurant of Danbury, Grassy Plain Pizzeria of Bethel, Hot & Speedy Pizza of Danbury, Johnâs Best Pizza Restaurant of Brookfield, Johnâs Pizza of Danbury, Luigiâs Restaurant and Pizza of Danbury, Marathon Restaurant of New Milford, My Place Restaurant of Newtown, Mykonos Pizza Restaurant of Danbury, Nickâs Pizza & Restaurant of Danbury, Piesano Pizza of Danbury, Portobello Restaurant & Pizza of Brookfield, Roccoâs Restaurant & Pizza of Brookfield, and First & Last Café of Danbury.
A $5 admission charge entitles you to sample all the delicious entries and cast your vote in crowning the best pizza among Connecticutâs favorites.
