Grief Support Group Meeting

DANBURY — The Danbury area chapter of The Compassionate Friends (TCF), a grief support group for families who have experienced the death of a child, will meet Tuesday, August 21, at 7 pm at the Danbury United Methodist Church on Clapboard Ridge Road (Route 39 – Exit 5 off I-84).

“Sharing Photos and Telling Your Child’s Story” will be the activity planned for the group’s August 21 meeting.

The group meets the third Tuesday of every month. The Danbury TCF is part of the national support group for parents, grandparents, and adult siblings who have experienced the death of a child. For more information about the group and its meetings, call 270-7954 or 743-5613.

The grief support group’s next monthly meeting will be Tuesday, September 18. The meeting topic will be “Dealing with Grief Constructively.”
