Casting Call For DCT Children’s Company

BRIDGEPORT — Downtown Cabaret Children’s Company will hold an open audition for its upcoming young audience season on Tuesday, August 28, at 7 pm, at the theatre, 263 Golden Hill Street in Bridgeport.

Adult men and women comedic actors who sing, young men and women ages 13-20 who sing and move well, and boys age 12 are encouraged to attend for openings in Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Ugly Duckling, Creature Double Feature and The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus. There are no roles for girls under 13 this season.

Those auditioning should prepare 16 bars uptempo and ballad; bring sheet music and picture/resume if possible. An accompanist will be present. No dance at this call. All positions will be paid.
