Arthur E.    Young, Jr

Arthur E. Young, Jr, 71, husband of Catherine (Servidio) Young of Farrell Road, Newtown, died August 2 at Danbury Hospital.

He was born in Augusta, Me., July 13, 1920, son of the late Arthur and Mildred (Williams) Young.

A resident of Newtown for the past 25 years, he was last employed as a machinist at the Newtown Manufacturing Company. During the Korean War he served in the US Army, stationed in Germany.

Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Bruce and James Young, both of Newtown; and a sister, Betty Odom of Anaheim, Calif.

Funeral services were held at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, on August 4. Interment was in St Rose Cemetery.
