Underage Alcohol Violations At Gathering
Police report they issued infraction tickets to 11 young people for alleged alcohol violations early on the morning of August 3 at âa very large gathering of youthsâ at a Huntingtown Road property.
In response to a noise complaint that they received at about 1 am, police went to 176 Huntingtown Road, which is on the northern corner of Huntingtown Road and Maltbie Road, to investigate.
In a statement, police said they encountered âa very large gathering of youths and no adult supervisionâ at the premises.
Police identified the âhostâ of the party as Nicholas Bonvini, 20, of that address. Bonvini received an infraction ticket for possession of alcohol by a minor and for permitting minors to illegally possess alcohol, police said.
Police said they issued infraction tickets for possession of alcohol by a minor to ten other people, one of whom was under age 18, and was thus not identified by police.
Police said the nine others receiving the underage alcohol possession infractions were: Bridget Naphen, 19, of 14 Taunton Lake Road; Meaghan Wilson, 19, of 7 Misty Vale Road; Morgan Luzzi, 18, of 173 Boggs Hill Road; Brendon Delohery, 18, of 4 Crossbrook Road; Canaan Brown, 18, of 48 Marlin Road; Brianna Liotta, 20, of 20 Shepaug Road; Daniel Brown, 18, of 19 Settlers Lane; Daniel OâConnor, 19, of 8 Old Farm Hill Road; and Kathrine Smith-Bloxsom, 18, of 8 Mackenzie Circle.
The fines specified by such infractions are appealable in court.
