NJWC’s 3rd Annual Golf Tournament Sponsored By Ingersoll Automotive

Newtown Junior Women’s Club is hosting its third annual golf tournament on Monday, August 22, at Whitney Farms Golf Club in Monroe. This event is generously sponsored for the second consecutive year by Ingersoll Automotive: Saab of Danbury and Saturn of Danbury and Watertown.

The proceeds from this tournament support NJWC’s community service programs such as the Back-to-School Backpacks, Tag-A-Gift, and the Discovery Science Workshops.

Additional cash donations were made throughout the year including the Edmond Town Hall theater seats, Danbury Women’s Shelter, Kevin’s Community Center, Relay For Life, and Time For Life.

The player fee is $150 and includes 18 holes of golf plus cart, homemade continental breakfast, buffet lunch, and great tournament prizes. The hole-in-one prizes are again sponsored by Bridgeport Harley Davidson and include a 2005 Harley motorcycle and various vacation packages.

Registration and breakfast start at 7:30 am with a shotgun start at 9.

Deadlines for sponsorship and golfer registration have been extended. The deadline for sponsorship and raffle gift donations is August 8. Players can be accepted within days of the event.
