James and Sally Duff of Chadds Ford, Penn., announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Abigail Margaret Duff, Unity, Maine, to Geoffrey Richard Gilchrist, Unity, Maine, son of John H. Gilchrist and the late Carol H. Gilchrist of Newtown.

An August 6 wedding is planned at the bride and groom’s Spring Hill Farm in Unity. Robert Tredwell, uncle of the bride, will officiate.

Matron of honor will be Jessica Duff Tolliver of Polson, Mont. Matt Schlesinger of Davis, Calif., will serve as best man.

The bride-to-be received her bachelor of arts from Colby College and graduated from Antioch New England Graduate School.

Mr Gilchrist is a graduate of Wesleyan University and University of California, Davis. He is employed at a small alternative energy company, Energy Works.

Following a trip to Cape Breton and Nova Scotia, Canada, the couple will be at home on Spring Hill Farm in Unity.
