DANBURY — As host to the Housatonic Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization (HVMPO) and South Western Region Metropolitan Planning Organization (SWRMPO), Western Connecticut Council of Governments (WestCOG) has opened a 45-day public comment period to amend the Public Involvement Plan (PIP).

Public comments on the amended PIP will be accepted until noon Friday, September 15. The amended PIP can be viewed here.

Comments can also be made at either of the two public information meetings.

The meetings are scheduled for Thursday, September 7, at 1 pm, at Comstock Community Center (Room 30), 180 School Road in Wilton, and via Zoom; and Tuesday, September 12, also at 1 pm, at the WestCOG office, 1 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook, and via Zoom.

The amended PIP will be considered for endorsement at WestCOG’s board meeting on Thursday, September 21, at noon, at Ridgefield Town Hall Annex, 66 Prospect Street in Ridgefield.
