Heartfelt Thanks To The VNA and Ashlar
To the Editor:
It has been two months now since my mother, Patricia Mahlmeister, passed away and as life begins to settle down, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Connecticut VNA and Ashlar of Newtown.
To Paula Lynch and Susan Peters; without your help and constant support I would have never been able to move my mother into my home. You enabled her to spend her final weeks in what was for all intents and purposes her second home, surrounded by what she loved more than life itself; her family. The quality of care you provide to your patients and their families is immeasurable; in reality, what you truly offer is quality of life and I will be forever grateful that my mother was able to have that.
To the staff at Ashlar of Newtown: though my mother was with you less than 24 hours, the level of care you provided was unsurpassed and it is evident that each one of you is truly devoted to your patients and their families. I cannot begin to express what a comfort it was to have my mother in your care. On behalf of my family, my deepest thanks to everyone for all that you have done.
Respectfully yours,
Cheryl A. Carey
