Concert Series Finale Saturday

The C.H. Booth Summer Concert Series will close its 2007 season Saturday, August 4, at 7 pm, with the Easton Banjo Society, one of the very few banjo bands in the country.

Concerts are performed at The Glen in Sandy Hook Center, at the corner of Glen Road and Church Hill Road.

Easton Banjo Society was organized in 1957 and has a very special sound coming from a blend of banjo types: tenor, plectrum, five-string and mandolin-banjo. Each instrument has its own unique sound, and together they create a very festive mood.

The concert is free and in the event of rain the concert will be moved indoors to C.H. Booth Library at 25 Main Street.
