Nursing & Allied Health Catalog Available

WATERBURY — The Naugatuck Valley Community College Nursing and Allied Health Continuing Education catalog of fall courses is now available. With credit-free opportunities for short-term job training and continuing education for nurses and allied health care specialists, NVCC has what health care professionals need to sharpen their skills and stay current. The faculty comes from a variety of disciplines with expertise to share with participants.

Pick up a catalog and find out about new courses that have been added to NVCC’s already extensive Nursing and Allied Health offerings. Peri-Operative (OR) Nursing, EKG and Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation and a Pharmacology Series for Nurses are among the courses available. In addition, the Nurse RE-Entry program, Spanish for Health Care Providers, and a Pediatric Lecture Series are also available to serve the continuing education needs of health care professionals.

The catalog also provides information about money-saving special offers, such as the Behavioral Health Series, the “Totally Rad” Dinner Series, and the Elder Care Series, each featuring new topics this fall.
