Newtown Community Center and Newtown Parks & Recreation will co-sponsor an outdoor movie night at Fairfield Hills next month.

All are invited to a free screening of Moana on Tuesday, August 17, on the soccer fields along Keating Farm Avenue. The screening will begin at dusk. The rain date is Wednesday, August 18.

Guests must provide their own seating.

Picnics are welcome. Snacks and beverages will also be available for purchase.

Released in 2016, Moana is an animated adventure comedy from Disney that features the vocal talents of Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson. It is rated PG and has a running time of 1 hour, 47 minutes.
