Norman B. Sperry, 93, of Bethel, died on July 27 at Danbury Hospital. He was the husband of the late Evelyn L. (Conley) Sperry.
Mr Sperry was born in Sandy Hook, December 8, 1907, a son of the late Charles and Anna (Patterson) Sperry. He grew up and attended schools here.
A resident of Bethel since 1954, Mr Sperry was last employed by Consolidated Controls of Bethel. He later worked with the Bethel Police Department as a crossing guard at St Mary School in Bethel for 25 years, retiring from that position in 1998.
Mr Sperry is survived by two sons, Norman A. Sperry of Chesnee, S.C., and Jerry A. Sperry of Brookfield; one daughter, Alice M. Sobel of New Milford; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.

The Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel, was in charge of arrangements.
