Women’s Slo-Pitch

 

STAMFORD TENT 9, GLEASON GROUP 6: Gleason Group scored five runs in the top of the first inning, but Stamford Tent roared right back for the win. Nancy Bowen (a first-inning triple and sixth-inning single), Justin Kahlsaat (first-inning RBI), Maureen Shimko (three hits), Sue Ormsbee (sixth-inning single), Lisa Pollock (sixth-inning single), Mary Ann Fisher (sixth-inning double), Doris Ratner (one hit) and June Frost (one hit) made the rally possible at the plate. In the field, Monica Defeo made a huge catch behind the plate.
