Robert Boyce
Robert Lawrence Boyce, age 74, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2024, at his home in Dawsonville, Georgia.
Robert was born on October 1, 1949, to Dwight H. Boyce and Margaret Hromcho Boyce, in Bridgeport. After Robert graduated from Newtown High School in 1967, he enlisted in the United States Navy. After his time in the Navy, Robert went on to study business at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury.
Robert spent the majority of his professional career as a National Service Manager for the Edwards Corporation.
In 1972, Robert married the love of his life, Pamela E. Kish, and they went on to have three daughters. They relocated to Dawsonville, Ga., in 1998.
Robert enjoyed fishing, boating, politics and tinkering with multiple projects around his home. He was a strong man of integrity, a loyal and loving Husband, steadfast Father, and a proud Grandparent.
Robert was predeceased by his loving wife, Pamela E. Kish; and his sister, Joan M. Ilgenfritz.
He is survived by his sister, Karen Ashley; his three daughters, Jennifer M. Burnett, Erika L. Carlson and Ashley B. Riggs; along with six grandchildren, Anabella M. Bianchini, Kate R. Carlson, Robert L. Carlson, Noelle R. Riggs, Andy T. Riggs and Aidan F. Riggs.
A Graveside Service to honor and remember Robert Lawrence Boyce will take place on August 10, at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, in Cumming, Ga. The service will commence at 11 am to pay tribute to a man who touched the lives of many.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St Jude Foundation, an organization that Robert felt strongly about.
