Womenâs Center Plans Program On How To Stay Safe At College
DANBURY â The Womenâs Center of Greater Danbury is sponsoring a college safety workshop for college bound students and their parents that will focus on risk reduction, basic safety tips, and information on rape drugs. Danbury police officer John Krupinksy and Womenâs Center educators Monica DâAmbrosio and Lia Levitt will present the program.
This free workshop will be held on Tuesday, August 3, from 7:30 to 9 pm at the Womenâs Center second floor community room at 2 West Street. Please call 731-5200 for more information and to register.
The Womenâs Center has been providing continuous service to Greater Danbury residents for over 28 years. In addition to workshops, the center offers counseling, crisis intervention, prevention and education programs, two 24-hour hotlines, and a referral Helpline.
