Tools Of Native Lifeways
WASHINGTON â Wendell Deer-With-Horns, of Two Kettles Band in Lakota Nation, will compare and contrast tools and implements from his own Plains collection with the Eastern Woodland collection of The Institute for American Indian Studies at the museum on Saturday, July 31.
Mr Deer-With-Horns will also discuss the uses of the items and how they were related to survival.
His discussions will be ongoing from 11 am to 1 pm and will be included with regular museum admission: $4 for aduls, $3.50 for senior citizens, and $2 for ages 2 to 16.
