Thank You Boot Campers
Thank You Boot Campers
To the Editor:
I just wanted to write a personal letter of thanks and congratulations to all of those people who participated in this yearâs Fitness Boot Camp. This camp was intended to bring together those who really enjoyed a strenuous workout that tested their own personal limits. And hopefully, all of you felt like you accomplished something that most people would not even dare to try. Honestly, how many people do you know who would voluntarily wake up at 5 am to have some guy push them to run hard or climb that hill faster or do that extra dreaded chin-up? Probably not too many.
Personally, I am very proud of all of you who stuck it out and completed that camp for the two weeks that it ran. I know many of the things that I made you do were not too enjoyable, but when you look back at your time at the track, you memories should bring a smile to all of your faces. I know it does me.
In closing, I just wanted to say thank you to: Ron Dufner, Pamilia Galer, Jan Hoffmeister, Tine Hoffmeister, Art Rowe, Eileen Strom, Melody Bonjour, Doug Bonjour, Sara Daniels, Dianne Petruney, Tara Hardy, Tammy Nelson, Rita Kelley, Silvia Porco, Diane Goodrich, Carol Anderson, Anthony Altieri, and Patti Kehler.
All of your participation and high spirits made this event another success and hopefully, with your support, we will continue to grow in the future. Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Mike Porco, Jr
