Newtown High School's stadium is currently undergoing renovations.

Residents are reminded that Blue & Gold Stadium at Newtown High School is currently closed due to renovations.

Use of the track or the turf field is prohibited until the entire project is complete.

Work at the 12 Berkshire Road playing space has been underway for weeks, but NHS Athletics issued a reminder through its social media outlets on July 29 that public access is currently prohibited.

Projected completion date is August 21.
