John R. Farkas

Beloved By Those Who Knew Him

John R. Farkas of Webster, N.Y., formerly of Bridgeport, died suddenly July 7, in Rochester, N.Y. He was born December 6, 1932, to Marion T. Sholtes Farkas and John Farkas.

Mr Farkas is survived by two siblings, including Susan (Benno) Chouinard from Newtown; a daughter-in-law; and one granddaughter. His is predeceased by his parents, a sister, and son, Alan.

He earned his BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Connecticut.

Mr Farkas lived in Bridgeport for 28 years, then relocated to Rochester, where he worked for Xerox for 30 years.

He was a devoted Christian who believed in the promises of Christ. He will be missed by his family who loved him dearly.
